We're super excited to launch our new range of Made with Northumberland beers in 440ml cans. These beers are brewed with locally foraged and sourced ingredients to give a true flavour of Northumberland.
We've chosen to package this range of beers in can as many of the flavours and aromas in wild ingredients are delicate. Cans allow no oxygen or light to get to the beer ensuring that the beer reaches you as fresh as possible. These cans also have a corn starch wrap (a label to you and me!) which is fully biodegradable.
To kick this range off we are launching 3 beers;
| Gorseflower / Foraged Pale (5.0%)
Made with freshly picked gorseflowers this foraged pale beer is light, crisp and floral in character. It has a beautiful golden colour from the flowers. Which a re used as both a brewing ingredient during the boil (alongside Styrian Wolf hops) and also used as a ‘dry-flower’, post fermentation addition.
| Damson / Porter (4.8%)
Our popular, award winning, Damson Porter has been available in bottle & cask for 18 months now. We’ve doubled the damsons for this can release! This is a velvety, rich chocolatey porter, brewed with aromatic malts and a whole load of Northumberland damsons for a fruity finish.
Plum / Belgium (5.0%)
Brewed for International Women’s Day Collaboration Brew Day to celebrate International Women’s day 2020 this is a beer led by it’s rich malty flavours and fruity Belgium yeast character – enhanced further by addition of a mass of Northumberland plums.
