Supporting Local Good Causes

We try to always have a beer in our range which supports a local good cause. Our newest release is 'Where's Your Head At?', this is a 4% pale ale brewed with rye and oats. We've added Strata & Vista hops which contribute a stone fruit & herbal notes.

This beer is available in bottle & cask, for every pint sold we make a donation to Heart Wood, a Northumberland based charity which supports men living with poor mental health, group counselling in a nature setting. We've had lots of conversations in the brewery and with Heart Wood about the connection of alcohol with mental health. We understand that alcohol can be problematic. This beer and is not about downplaying the negative effects alcohol can play in some people's lives, but also not ignoring the value of a chat and a pint with a friend who can listen well. Nothing is ever simple is it?
