Onco Fonco / Small IPA (440ml cans)

Class beer, as always, with a slick delivery

In 2022 Onco Fonco was out in a league of its own as the hoppiest oatiest lower alcohol beer - see my 2022 review. For my tastes the new recipe is less exciting and dramatic, almost a lower alcohol Mad Jack Ha, so elderflower has taken over as my favourite but Onco Fonco remains a very drinkable 3% ABV session ale and I'm about to get some more!

The perfect light ale full of hoppy flavour.

This is deliciously hoppy yet light and oaty. It has the flavour punch needed to give the choice of drinking chilled on a hot day or at cellar temperature. At 3% ABV it's a good place to start if the rugby or football sets you off on an early session!
